On the day of your first visit in our clinic, you will register at our front desk, a process that should only take a few moments of your time. Please be sure to give our front desk staff any records that you have brought with you.
This process will be expedited if you are able to print and complete the downloadable registration forms and bring these with you on the day of your consult.
A nurse will room you and record additional preliminary information prior to being seen by a provider. Nursing staff will review your medication list, collect vital signs, and note any major concerns that you wish to prioritize.
Occasionally, a physician’s assistant (PA) will obtain additional information prior to being seen by the physician for in depth discussion regarding overall treatment goals and outlining a plan.
Please understand that it is our goal to get you through this process as effectively and efficiently as possible. It is possible that your doctor will get called out of the room during the consultation process to attend to various other patient care issues in the clinic. Rest assured that this is normal clinic flow as we have patients under treatment throughout the day that may require prompt attention.
Our doctors also have made it a policy to directly take calls from other physicians so that we can provide the best comprehensive cancer care to the community.
